Closing this Wednesday are the five shows in Wildwood, NJ. these shows traditionally have majors in many breeds and are at a wonderful show site right on the beach. Dogs are allowed on the beach (it is a little too cold for swimming, LOL) and there are ample hotel rooms close to the show site as well as some great restaurants which stay open for this event.
I will be doing the entries for those of you whom have asked us to make their entries tomorrow. So, if you would like us to make the entries for you, please let us know by tomorrow. For those of you who are making their own entries, please send us email confirmation.
Please remember that i will not be able to make any last minute entries on Wednesday morning as we will be on the road to the Howard County shows. So I must receive your information by Tuesday in order to get these entries in time.
The show season is starting off great and we look forward to even more success in the shows to come.

Closing next Wednesday, January 18th are the five Wildwood, Nj shows that are the week before the Garden. These shows draw majors in a number of breeds so if you are looking for majors, you may wish to consider entering them.
For those of you whom we make entries for, we will be doing so next Monday and Tuesday. Please let us know if you would like us to make your entries for you. As always, if you are making your own entries, please send us email confirmation of same.
I am still working on getting a schedule for the first quarter of the year and hope to have to everyone soon.
Rates will remain the same as last year with no increases. If you would like a copy of a rate sheet, please email us with your full address and we will be happy to send one to you.
We are excited about getting started in 2012 with some great dogs! Looking for lots of wins to start piling up and couldn’t do it without all of you.
We’re off now to the Fredericksburg shows. If you are entered and meeting us at the show, we have a reserved grooming spot so it should be easy to find us. Otherwise, please call the cell numbers below:

Closing this Wednesday at noon are the two Doswell, VA shows. If you have already let us know that you would like to enter these shows, your entries are being made Tuesday a.m. before we leave for the Fredericksburg shows. If you have asked us to make entries but need to provide a credit card number, please call Adam or Jo Ann at 410-519-1523 before 10:30 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) so that we may have all of the information needed to make your entry.
The next group of shows will be the Wildwood, NJ shows.

Well i expected to have the show list completed before leaving for Orlando but it just didn’t work out that way. so i promise to get it completed once we return. Adam was badly bitten by a grooming dog (a little bichon/poodle mix) and we spent a day in the ER having it worked on and a drain put in. He was back at the ER Sunday morning so that they could check it, give him the o.k. to go to Florida and remove the drain. So we will be leaving today and arriving home late next Monday evening.
In the meantime, I wanted to provide you with the January shows we will be attending. Please let us know if you would like us to make the entries for you or if you prefer to make them yourself, please send us email confirmation that they have been completed. I will be doing our entries as soon as I return from Orlando as they will begin closing that Wednesday. It seems that time is running at the speed of light!

Please note that Westminster K.C. entries are closing Friday at 12 noon. All entries have been made if you have previously contacted us about making the entries. Any one with a last minute entry should contact us prior to the closing time (at least one hour before that closing) so that we may get your entries in successfully.
We are putting together the 2012 schedule and you will be receiving it shortly.

Please be aware that the closing date for Westminster K.C. shows will be December 2nd, 2011 at noon. If you plan on entering, you must let us know before that date as benching arrangements must be made as well.
The cost for handling at Westminster is all inclusive – that means that the fee includes all travel expenses / board and grooming. There are two fees – one if the dog is carried by us and one if the dog is carried by you and presented to us the day it is shown. Hotel fees and transportation fees have all risen to attend this show which is why we have factored in those elements to give you one flat fee. Fees for Westminster are as follows:
Handler Carried / All Inclusive / One Fee $1,000.00
Owner Carried / All Inclusive / One Fee $650.00
Additionally, if you would like your dog advertised in the dog magazines distributed both before and at the garden, please let us know – with multiple ads we can get a discount on advertising rates.
Closing tomorrow at noon are the three shows before the Eukanuba shows – if you are entered in Eukanuba, your entries for these shows have already been made.
We will be staying north this year for the January shows — which means we will be doing the Fredericksburg, VA shows / the Howard County shows / the Doswell, VA shows and of course the Wildwood, NJ shows. A schedule is in the works and should be sent to you the first week of December.

Please note for those that qualified for the Eukanuba show, entries are closing this Wednesday, November 16th. we will also be attending the three all breed shows before Eukanuba which are:
Wednesday – 12/14 Space Coast K.C. of Palm Bay
Thursday – 12/15 Brevard K.C.
Friday – 12/16 Central Florida K.C.
Eukanuba is the Saturday and Sunday following these three shows.
All located in Orlando, FL
The only local shows during this same time period are the two Bethlehem, PA shows and there are no more shows after that for 2011.
DECISION TIME FOR JANUARY 2012
Once again it is up to you, our clients, as to what shows we attend in January. The decision is between us attending the ten shows in Florida – all at one location / outdoors. Or the shows that are in the Virginia / Maryland area – these are in three different locations – the first set in Fredericksburg, VA / the second set in West Friendship, MD and the third set in Doswell, VA. these shows, of course, are all indoors.
Please visit infodog.com for information on judges in order to make your decisions. And please let us hear from you as soon as possible so reservations may be made for parking / grooming at the shows. thank you.
Lastly, those requesting the Westminster box seats need to have their order in this week.

Closing next Wednesday are the four shows comprising the Maryland Turkey Cluster held at Howard County Fairgrounds in Maryland. The dates of the shows are November 25-26-27-28. Please let us know if you would like us to make entries for you for these shows or send us confirmation if you are making the entries yourself.
Closely approaching is the closing date of the Eukanuba show and three all breed shows at the same location prior to the Eukanuba show. You must have received an invitation to be eligible for these shows. We will be making the entries after the return from the Salisbury shows so let us know if you have been invited and plan on attending.
If you are planning on attending the Westminster Kennel Club shows this year either with or without a dog, I have again received my invitation for the box seats which i hold every year. These are in a great location. Tickets are good for both days and it is an unbelievable experience to sit and watch the groups that close. Our seats are where judges and celebrities are seated around us and everyone has a great time watching the event. If you would like to purchase the tickets, the cost is $140.00 and i must receive your order for tickets including payment no later than November 20th. The tickets are mailed mid January for the February 13th & 14th event.
Fall has definitely come and i hope we won’t have too many more rainy/snowy/icy days like last weekend. I was lucky enough to be in Arizona at the Akita national but Adam had to make his way home from the cancelled Middleburg shows – at least we are indoors from here on in!
